In the spirit of an oober timely blog post (for once), here is a rushed post with a boat load of photos from a very special cupcake order for TODAY. These cupcakes were for a sweet little girl named Raina who I nanny for a couple days a week. She turned ONE today and shares a birthday with her mom, Sapna! They had a nice little picnic party in the Panhandle. The theme of the party was a little bit circus / little bit mardi gras... based off of an original love of elephants. I made lemon chiffon cake cupcakes with lemon french buttercream and chocolate cupcakes with mocha-espresso buttercream topped with fondant cupcake toppers with little elephants on them...and a few beach balls too. I put them in cute little scalloped red and white striped baking cups. Ok, I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking. Enjoy! :)
