I'm so excited to share this dessert table. It was both my first professional dessert table as well as a true labor of love. Cole's cousin, Molly, was throwing an engagement party for her good friends, Maura & Brendan. Molly was so sweet to think of me for this project and I was so excited to step up to the challenge. Molly and I met over coffee to discuss some details about the party and I got to peep her Pinterest board for some party inspiration. Here was my working Pinterest board for the party, for the record. One of the primary motifs of the party that I gravitated to was Pomegranates -- both the fruit and the color. Molly ordered these beautiful Pomegranate Watercolor invitations from Paperless Post. She also wanted to incorporate some really delicious bites, both sweet & savory, as her friend Maura is a bit of a foodie. No pressure. :) Other elements/themes were mason jars, chalk board signs, and kraft paper. Other than that, I wanted everything to look really neat-- some modern, clean lines mixed in with the rustic elements. Does that makes sense? I dunno, just check it out already! :)

This last photo is a poster hand-drawn by Molly herself. She's quite the artist! I was so impressed with this, as well Molly's beautiful apartment and all the other decorations she had up. Unfortunately this was the only one I (COLE) got to snap a photo of but it speaks for itself, I think! Thanks, Molly, for this incredible opportunity. Had so much fun working with you, too! :) xoxo
