On an semi-eventful summer Saturday, between our neighbors unpacking from one vacation and re-packing for the next, and Georgia keeping us wildly entertained, I decided I needed to keep up with all the motion around me and make something. Something... sweet. I couldn't really commit to a full-on baking session, but the fever had hit me and before I knew it I was stirring up the fastest dessert I could think of... Rice Krispie Treats made with browned butter and sea salt.
Georgia got a little treat too -- a few minutes of gettin' after the empty box of Rice Krispies -- so I could buy some time to take pictures of my treats.
